I am a long time Austinite (26 years to be exact). Honestly, it is more than half my life and all the while I painted what impressed me.  Somewhere along the way, I started writing... Austin gave me the weird space to grow!

I co-founded AADI - Austin Arts and Drama Initiative - which brings movies, music and art to Austin. I got selected to be on the Community Advisory Board of KLRU, a local public television station, and I am a contributing writer for the Austin South-Asian, a local monthly newspaper. My freelance work has appeared in the Austin-American Statesman and the Austin Chronicle.

 I live with my husband and children in Austin, TX.
